EPILEPSY AWARENESS DAY AT DISNEY WORLD

APRIL 25-26, 2026

DISNEY'S CONTEMPORARY RESORT ORLANDO FLORIDA

The Sofie's Journey Story

From One Family’s Journey to National Impact

This event was born from the Levy family’s epilepsy journey. When Sofie had her first seizure at age 5, they discovered the challenges of finding specialized epilepsy care. After years of treatment and eventually brain surgery, Sofie achieved seizure freedom – now 16 years seizure-free.

The Levys created Epilepsy Awareness Day at Disneyland to ensure no family faces epilepsy alone. Their vision: connect every person with epilepsy to the best possible care and strongest community support.
